5Rhythms is a dynamic movement practice rooted in the principle that if you put the psyche in motion, it will heal itself.  The 5Rhythms Wave is a continual cycle of the rhythms - Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, Stillness®. It is a map toward self-discovery, embodiment and change. It is a map of our emotions, the archetypes, the relational process, the healing process and more. It is a map that can help us to locate where we are, how we got there, and where we are going.

Consciously dancing the 5Rhythms Wave, with others and in a group, expands our awareness, empowers our choice-making, and awakens what is possible.

About Gail:
Gail discovered the 5Rhythms in 1995 and completed the 5Rhythms teacher training with Gabrielle Roth in 2005. She was instrumental in creating and supporting 5Rhythms dance communities in Maine and Alaska, and is now offering classes in Vermont.  Her understanding of the Rhythm Wave continues to evolve as she deepens into her work as a Trager® and energy healing practitioner in Waterbury VT. Gail’s home rhythm is Staccato; her deepest discovery dancing the rhythm wave has been flow, her current life learning is finding ease in the surrender of chaos, and her greatest joy is the integration of her life journey into the lyrical stage of her life cycle.

This workshop welcomes both complete beginners and experienced movers. There is no choreography to get right, and no dance experience or ability is necessary, just a willingness to move and explore the familiar and unknown.
