“HERE I AM”
Practices to orient ourselves in the present moment

HERE I AM is a weekly opportunity for embodied exploration of what it means to "be here now” in relationship to inner and outer space and place.  Through freedom of movement, attention and connection we can access our own embodied knowing of where “I am” in any given moment. 

Each week we will lean into practices that orient us to landscapes within, below, above, between, and all-around.  We will cultivate present moment awareness by playing with invitations to investigate body, breath, and space.  When we move between our inner dance and the outer landscape we engage in the dynamic quality of relationship with Self, other and community. Together we will play with shifting points of awareness and practice meeting each moment with curiosity and openness.  Allowing the present moment in and strengthening our capacity to be Here right now.

This is a friendly, diverse community of dancers which welcomes both complete beginners and experienced movers. There is no choreography to get right, and no dance experience or ability is necessary, just a willingness to move and offer your attention to what spontaneously unfolds.
